Question

Reduce swelling faster

Have swelling on right side of labia from overzealous sex. It is tender and swollen. Putting ice pack on it at night but is there anything else I can do?

No bleeding nor are there cuts. The whole pelvic area was swollen and now it is down to one area. It is discomfort to sit down. Just did not think it would take this long- 4 days now to go down.

Hello

You can take anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen 200 mg twice daily for 2-3 days for symptomatic relief and to reduce the swelling.Ibuprofen is availaible OTC .

I was taking Aleve..wrong medicine huh? Well ibuprofen and continue with the ice pack?

Hello

You can take aleve .It is also NSAID (non steroidal Anti Inflammatory drug).Our main aim of giving anti inflammatory drug is to reduce swelling.Also continue the ice packs.
