can i get help for hair loss from the nhs?

i have thinning hair.I am female.I have seen my gp they can find nothing.It has been getting worse.Started at 25.My hair line is going the same way as a mans.It causes me great disstress.If i can't improve it fine, but i want to at least stop it.It has been suggested i see a tricholigist, but i can't affort costly treatments.How can i find out if its my medication?

IF you are suffering from a 'male pattern baldness' then it is eminently treatable and any good dermatologist / trichologist should be able to give appropriate medications for the same,
The most specific treatment for this is MINOXIDIL, however other contributing factors like stress, nutritional deficiencies, local infections and hormonal imbalances should be kept under consdieration and ruled out as needed.
