You are so very welcome for my response, and yes they usually do not recommend or prescribe anti-seizure medication when the seizures are spaced out this far apart. I was not aware how often she suffered from them. It does seem right that her seizures are considered infrequent enough that they would not want to start her on anti-seizure medications. A low dose of Klonopin might help out in this instance so it is something that I would definately recommend that you ask her physician about, but if the seizures become more frequent they should consider anti-seizure medication.
