Im sorry i typed a question just a few minutes ago but something happened and i lost it. Im typing regards to my younger sister who has a sore that grows or develops in or around her private area. the sore goes away after we put medical cream on it. What we are asking is could Customer (name blocked for privacy) have an std. She is handicapp and her last sexual contact was in the year of 1990 ruffly. She has a doctor, but do you need to ask the dr for a special test in order to discover the std. Im not sure the doctor thinks Customer (name blocked for privacy) has had any sexual activity. It was a family matter that was dealt with. In short she was molested by a family member. can an std stay dorminent for periods of time. The sore comes to a big white head and then pops in a few days. very uncomfortable for her.

Yes, this could be a herpes outbreak and you really do need to tell the doctor so your sister can get the proper treatment. There are antiviral medications you can give her to relieve her pain.
