is there such things as vaginal pimples?

I have been dealing with an embarrassing situation that is getting annoying to deal with & is making me nervous. I am a female - age 32. For the past 10 years or so, I have had "outbreaks" in my genital area. They have not met the description of anything I have looked up. They are single round sores that pop up at no particular time an in not one particular area in my vagina. They are sore to the touch - but have no other symptoms. They feel like hard, circular, flesh colored sores. The last 2 times I have gotten them - they actually formed a white head & popped like a pimple! The discharge was that of a regular white head pimple. Is there such a thing as blind pimples or white head pimples in your genital area? This is really gross & I don't know what they are or what to do about it! Please help!

You may have folliculitis . It is the infection of the damaged follicle by the bacteria. Hot moist compresses may promote drainage of folliculitis. Topical antibiotics , oral antibiotics , or antifungal medications may be needed to control the infection.
