No this is a medication that is a chemotherapeutic agent used for treatment of Pulmonary tuberculosis and will not kill the bacterial infection of chlamydia. You would need an antibiotic such as Azithromycin or Doxycycline to help cure the bacteria that causes the infection. Some other medications that can be prescribed are Ofloxacin or Erythromycin taken twice daily for seven days to kill the bacterial infection that caused the infection and without treatment it can cause infection to the urinary tract or inflammation of the reproduction area near the testicles.
