Question

sleep disorder

Sent to Health Experts October 11, 2006 8:43 a.m.

I am writing this for a friend. Her husband has an interesting sleep disorder that we would like more information on. It seems he wakes up at odd times during the night and performs tasks as if he is awake. For instance, he has bathed and gotten ready for work in his sleep. He has eaten a plant in his sleep. He also raids the kitchen, eating large amounts of food, sometimes even cooking; all in while sleeping. When he has an uneventful night, he wakes feeling like he hasn't slept, but when he has a night where he does these strange things, he wakes feeling well rested. Please offer any information you can.

What medications is he currently on for routine health. Has he seen a doctor at all on this.
