hello,
A menopausal women has certain of her hormone levels low. If you send me your reports of the hormone levels of FSH, LH, S.Oest as well as the ultrasonogram reports, I would be able to tell you what is going on. Also what day you got these tests done - they should usually be done on the 3rd day of your menstrual cycle.
The level of these hormones vary throughout the cycle. Although the levels can say that a woman is approaching or is going through menopause, the only accurate indicator of menopause is if you have not had your periods for more than 12 months. Even then, in a woman of your age, the cause of the amenorrhoea needs to be investigated, rather than going in for a diagnosis of menopause on the basis of blood tests alone.
