I am diabetic and just got thru having ketoacidosis... my symptoms for ketoacidosis went away, though my sugars are still around 300-400. I'm about to start byetta so that should get better. But meanwhile, my period has lasted about 3 weeks now. It has just been very little blood, like maybe a teaspoon to tablespoon a day and usually first thing in the morning. I wear a pad just in case it gets heavier. But it was coming very heavy these past few months with huge clots and now when i go to the bathroom and wipe, i get mucusy blood and just a little bit. I've had this pain on my right side, I'm guessing is my ovary that is unusual. Any idea what this may be? Any clue would be helpful.
Thanks,
Kim
