Sent to Health Experts October 04, 2005 11:44 a.m.

I have been taking Provera for the past six days (I have 10 pills total) so that I can start mensruation and start taking Clomid on days 5-9. The nurse told me to stop taking the Provera as soon as I started to menstruate. I have spotted lightly the past two days and a little heavier today. I'm not sure to count that as the beginning my menstrual period and stop taking the Provera and then count 5 days from then or if I need to wait until it is a heavy red flow. I don't want to screw up on what days I take the Clomid. Could ou please help? Thanks.

Dear Customer (name blocked for privacy),
I would feel that you may consider heavy spotting to be indicative of a menstrual bleed and continue treatment with clomid and stop provera.

So, start taking the Clomid 5 days from the heavy spotting? What if the menstrual bleed stops once I stop taking the Provera...or does that even happen?

Sorry for the delay in reply,
It is unlikley that this will happen, however if it does, then its back to the drawing boards as they say, you would need to discuss the problem with your Ob/gy,
