Im assuming you mean menstrual cramps.
Menstrual cramps and muscle aches may be associated with low levels of calcium and magnesium.
Ensuring that you're drinking plenty of water and less caffeine is also important. Too much caffeine depletes water from your body and also increases calcium loss.
There are other causes of bad cramps and muscle aches as well but a common cause is low calcium and magnesium.
It is best to get a product with magnesium aspartate and calcium aspartate or citrate. These are highly absorbable forms. Also they should be in the ratio of calcium 2 to magnesium 1.
If you are drinking lots of dairy products and supplementing already with calcium, then it may be only magnesium you need.
