Anything over 10 days you should see your doctor, so this is not normal. If you are going through a pad an hour then I would suggest a trip to the ER. bleeding as long as you are, you could become anemic as well. Other wise you do need to see your doctor, they can give you something to stop the period and then find out what the exact cause.
