Irregular Period?

A couple of days ago, I started bleeding as if I was on my period. The problem is, is that my period isn't supposed to start for about another 2 weeks. So, I've been bleeding like I was on my cycle for the past 2 days. I have no discomfort or pain, but I am concerned, as this has never happened to me before. I have been on the same birth control, Orthotricyclen, for the past 6 years. I am now 25 years old.

Could you please shed some light as to why this might be happening to me? Should I be concerned?
