I was on depo provera for approximately five years. I switched to the NuvaRing about 6 months ago, and I have not had a period yet. When should I begin to worry about serious longterm side effects which make themselves evident with the absence of a period? My mom and I are both worried about my fertility as a result of the shot, and I wonder when I will resume regular menstrual cycles again.
