Hi, I am 46yrs.old. I have had several cone procedures in the last few yrs. The last cone procedure caused my cervical opening to completing close causing my menstrual blood to fill up in my uterus. I have been to my GYN 's office twice in the last couple of months, which the first time he managed to make an opening enough for the blood to flow out. The cervix immediately closed up again. The following month I was back to his office with the same issue. He now dilated the cervix and again the blood flowed out. He recommended getting a depo-prevera shot to stop my periods. This month I feel like there is more blood in the uterus. I haven't gotten a period yet thinking the depo shot prevented that so I wouldn't know if the dilation worked or not. I really don't want to take anymore of those depo shots. What other alternatives do I have. Please Help!
