How can I delay my monthly period, or goof up my cycle for a month. I'm going out of the coutry for a couple weeks, and would like to not have to worry about it.

Other than if you are already taking the pill, the only other way is with a medication called norithisterone, but this needs to be started at least four days before your period is due. In this case you would need to see your doctor to get a script. If this isn't soon enough, the only other option is to go to your drug store and pick up some Insteads. Insteads are a menstrual cup that can safely be left in place for up to 12 hours. You can read more about them here
