it was a good answer, however i still don't understand. does ovulation occur before or after your period? because you cant have make love during your period. so ovulation is either a few days before or after. im ,not sure if i remember correctly, but i was taught that 3,4 days before, and 3,4 days after your period, are the days you have a higher chance of pregnancy.

Ana 21,

Ovulation occurs after your period, usually about halfway through your cycle. This can be very variable though. Generally, there is no completely safe time that you can't get pregnant.

Ana 21,

You can read more about the cycle here

Since ovulation can be unpredictable, it is always best to use contraception if pregnancy is not intended.
