I am on Ortho Trycyclene Low for birth control. If I stop taking the pill two days before my blank week of pills should I start a new pack two days prior or can I begin the sunday after my period again?

Hello,

You will need to begin the new pack 2 days prior to sunday. Ideally though, it is always best to finish the entire pack of pills.

I hope this helps.

I.e., stop a couple of days early and then begin a couple of days early or should I start a new pack to miss a period or delay one if necessary?

Thanks for your help with this.

Hello,

If you want to miss a period or delay one, it will be best if you start a new pack immediately after you finish this one without waiting for the period to occur.

Missing pills can lead to higher chances of pregnancy.

It is okay to completely miss a period once in a while to adjust the timing of the period. But doing this repeatedly or too often can result in irregular menstruation later on.

I hoe this helps.
