Can an HIV-positive woman menstruate?

I have just had a long menstruation after having sex with a new partner. Should I be concerned?

we used a condom, and I got my first progestin shot a month ago

What is your age, and your normal pattern/timing of menstruation? Are you on any birth control? How "long" was this period, and was it typical/on schedule or off-schedule? When were you diagnosed with HIV, and what meds are you on? Any other health problems?
