I'm an 18 year old girl, every time I masturbate my hand and fingers are bloody, and have little bits of tissue on them. Is this normal? I'm not on my period and I wont be for another three weeks. It has happened for at least a year now.

If this is the only time that you notice bleeding (excepting your period) it is probably due to small cutsand abrasions caused by your fingernails. Cutting your fingernails flush with your fingertips is a simple, and effective, solution.

This has happened on numerous occasions, and I have a hard time believing it's from my fingernails. The blood is everywhere on my hand and it doesn't look or feel like fresh blood, but it doesn't look or feel like blood from menstruation.

I don't use any lubricant.

I masturbate maybe twice a week at the most.

The bleeding is there no matter the frequency or length.

It doesn't seem like bleeding (like a cut on your arm) rather it seems like the blood is seeping, if that makes any sense.
