Customer (name blocked for privacy), the ability to get pregnant , when you have not had your period in one year , depends of the specific cause of your condition.

In your case, like you told me that you have not had your menstruation, one year ago.

This looks like you have, what doctors call secondary amenorrhea.

If you have had previous uterine procedures ,like dilation and curettage, resulting in the development of scar tissue in your uterine cavity, and this scar tissue does not allow that the menstrual blood flow , come out of your vagina, you can get pregnant without having your menstruation.

But if the causes, are other ones, that block the ovulation process, it is very improbable that you get pregnant.

These causes can be:

1-extreme anxiety

2-emotional distress

3-oral contraceptive pills

4- contraceptives injections

5-polycystic ovary syndrome

6-extreme weight loss

7- excessive exercise

8-medications (busulfan,chlorambucil, cyclophosphamides and phenotiazines)

9-pituitary tumors

10- hormonal disorders

Consult a gynecologist , the doctor will need to perform some tests, to evaluate the cause of your condition , after this, he will give you the adequate treatment.

The tests that the doctor will perform are:

endometrial biopsy

hormone levels, like testosterone

HCG, FSH AND LH LEVELS

TSH

CT scan of your head

prolactin levels

The treatment will be vary, according to the specific cause of your lack of menstruation.
