I have been experiencing spotting for about 9 days. At first I thought it was my period 7 days early....but now that is it has latest 9 days and is so very light like spotting and not my period. My last menstruation was Nov. 25 and I had my annual pap on Dec 10th and he said nothing was wrong. Any reasoning or explanation''s??? I did engaged in sexual relations on the 7th day of cycle with my finance, could I be pregnant?

Most likely pregnancy did not occur, as you would not have spotting for this many days straight. Typically 10 or more days straight of spotting or bleeding warrants a visit to see a doctor. Period abnormalities can be due to many things including stress, weight gain/loss, thyroid, hormonal imbalance, infection, illness, medications, polyp, cyst, amongst other reasons. The only way to know for sure exactly what is going on is to see your doctor for an exam and testing. If your doctor suspects a hormonal imbalance, a simple blood test will show this.
