Why am I experiencing a salty taste,even without adding salt to food etc.?

I am diabetic..
Am on Insulin, Lipitor, accupril....
However, I just completed 5 days of 500mg amoxicillin due to abcess in teeth that were justremoved.

Hello

This can be due to electrolyte imbalance as a result of diarrhoea. If you are dehydrated, you may have saltier saliva.

Post nasal discharge is also associated as a potential cause.
