Question

bladder dropping after hysterectomy

Sent to Health Experts September 10, 2006 12:53 p.m.

I had a hysterectomy 10 days ago. My follow up appt. is in 4 days. I have recovered great except problems with my bladder. It keeps falling down and I have to push it back up. The nurse says this is normal. I will feel as if I have to go to the bathroom and it ends up being my bladder that has come down and I then have to push it back up. It is to the point I dread going to the bathroom. This really concerns me. Does this mean I will have to have my bladder tacked up? Is this normal and will it resolve on its own?
