yesterday i asked about modesty coverings for a full body. somehow i got two answers. i indicated i preferred being totally naked for the full exam. one answer said tk dr would prefer being except when that area is being checked. the other said just tell the nurse and dr and they would be happy to oblige. can i get a third answer to help me decide.my test is tomorrow.

It is customary for an area to be covered, unless it is currently being examined. This is how all the doctor's office I have ever worked in perform an exam. This is usually done to prevent unnecessary exposure and to prevent chilling. If you feel more comfortable being totally naked including possibly being fully exposed to other staff that may walk into the exam room, then I would discuss this with whomever is in the exam room, other than the doctor.
