cmr1103,

Not all women experience morning sickness- some women just experience a missed period, and that is it. The first signs of morning sickness usually develop during the month following the first missed menstrual period, when hormone levels increase. It tends to go away later in pregnancy, and it's almost always gone by the second trimester.
