My 10 year old girl has pain in her right side. She throws up throughout the early mornings of the day. There has been no fever, only chills. She has been taking Losec for GERD with some relief. No appetite throughout the day until supper time. She has no desire to drink water or other fluids and blood tests have shown a high sodium level.

  1. How much does she weigh?
  2. Has she lost any weight since this illness started?
  3. Did the doctors do a Complete Blood Count (CBC), if so what was her white blood cell count? If they did a differential with the CBC what was her lymphocite count.
  4. Has any one else in your home or any of her friends been sick?
  5. How long has this been going on?
  6. Take your hand and press in on the spot and tell her to tell you if it hurts and feel to see if ther are any hard knots.
  7. Does she take any other medications, and does any of her blood relatives have any bowel diseases, or a history of liver; pancrease; apendix; problems.
