hello. my 4 year old daughter just poked herself in the ...

hello. my 4 year old daughter just poked herself in the eye with scissors. its in the white part of the eye and its a bit red. it hurt her for a few minutes, we put an ice pack on and since then, she says it doesn't hurt. what else should we do? shold we go to the ER?

It would be adviseable to go to the ER immediately, to have her checked out. The ER has specialized eye instrumentation where she can be examined to determine if/what type of damage has been done, and the appropriate treatment given. She may not be complaining of pain, but it's still possible that some damage has been done so the safe thing to do would be to have it checked out at the ER.
