my 12 year old granddaughter is on concerta for being adhd and we do not think she is and the mother is giving her this to solve her behavior with a pill. she says she does not like the way it makes her feel and this summer she is not taking the dose because she does not want to. where can we take her to be absolutely given the most accurate diagnosis possible in the portland, or area?

Hello

You need to find a pediatric neurologist who specializes in behavior issues with kids. They should also be partnering with a child psychologist. To test kids properly, it takes a whole team of different experts and some pretty extensive testing physically as well as mentally.

I suggest you call your personal physician and ask them who is the best in your area for this.
