Recurring vaginal strep in 4 yr old
Sent to Health Experts July 13 09:49 PM

My now 4 year old daughter is having a bout of recurring vaginal strep. She was misdiagnosed for about 1 1/2 years when they kept telling me it was a yeast infection. She is having wetting problems, lack of appetite and is extremely irritable. Is there a possibility that it has gone further into her system than just vagina? Is it possible that she will be infertile later in life due to this? Can she have cultures done via pap smear this young in life? What can I do to finally get her over this and healthy again? Please help me! This problem is going on 2 years and I'm scared for her health!!! Thanks for any info you can provide.

Debra
