child had bicycle accident - want to know if we should take to hospita

poked in stomach with quite hard with bike handlebars - hurts 2 hours later worse than initially - fell asleep in the middle of the day while on couch.

should take to hospital? worried about ruptured spleen or something.

Yes, to be on the safe side and with him showing pain and falling asleep he may have internal bleeding or damage to an organ. Drive slow and take him now and do not wait any longer. Again, just be careful driving. It is better to be safe on this then otherwise.
