Hi. I have a 19-month-old who will push toys (strollers walking toys) etc but will not walk independently. He will walk holding on to one hand, he will stand in the middle of the room, has gotten himself into the standing position by himself in the middle of the room, and will take 5-15 steps by himself, when he wants to. I am concerned that he is not walking independently yet. His hips have been x-rayed and his pediatrician says that is fine. Can you help?
