My 8 yr old son was diagnosed with rotovirius 10 days ago. He was hospitalized and was given IV fluids. Afte we left the hospital, he threw up and continued to have diarrhea for 2 days. He was symptom free for 8 days, last night he began to vomit and have diarrhea. He complains of constant stomch pain and has nausea right before he vomits. He is a VERY healthy child and has not had any vomiting and diarrhea in over 2 years. Are the 2 unrealted or do you think I should proceed with more tests??
