I have a 3 year old with small raised bumps on her face. They are mainly under her lip on her chin. However, now I am seeing one on her forehead, and the other bumps are speading all around her mouth area. It started about a year ago with just one bump on her forehead that her pediatrician associated with her pacifier. She hasn't had the pacifier in over a year and the bumps are getting worse. Now I noticed one on my 2 year old son's forehead also.

I would make an appointment with the dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis.

o they have them on their arms as well? Do they itch?

No, they only have them on the face. There are about 10 small bumps all around her mouth. At first it was thought to be an irritation due to the pacifier. You can not notice them from a distance or in a picture. No itching.

This is a tough one as I can not see them. I would purchase some hyrdocorisone cream and put it on at night when she is sleepy and ready for bed. See if that helps. If you can put it on in the morning and she doesn't touch that would be good too.

It may be a contact dermatitis. Kids have a habit of touching their faces with dirty hands. If it spreads, take them to the dematologist.

I have gave you a limk to a website with pictures maybe you will see something similar, let me know.

I went to the link you gave me, under the skin section- common skin rashes. It pretty much looks like the heat rash- letter B- the clear bumps. Only when I read the description, it occurred in different places on the body other than the face. I just wanted to give you an idea of what it looked like. Do you still think I should get hydrocortisone cream. Do you think it's contagious since my two year old now has one?

I would try the cream on both of them. If it doesn't go away, check with a dermatologist.

My other concern is have you changed anything recently? Bath soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener. The only problem with that idea is that I would venture to think they would have this allergic reaction on their bodies too.

The last thought i have is scabies, but they are itchy.
