My husband's rash was diagnosed as scabies, and the family ( he, myself, and our 15 month old son) were prescribed permethrin. We were told to apply it before bed, as I was reading over the info and directons it says in bold letters not to use if you are nursing. Which I am. So my question is if it's not safe for nursing how is it safe for our son. Should we treat my husband, but not us? Should we wait to treat my husband until we can all be treated?
