NEED INFORMATION!                   HER PARENTS FEEL I AM OVERLY CONCERNED AND THEY DO NOT THINK THIS REQUIRES ATTENTION. THERE RESPONSE IS "SHE IS ONLY 2 AND TRIES TO TALK TOO FAST."

SHE IS NOT A FAST TALKER AND THIS CONDITION SEEMS TO BECOME MORE NOTICEABLE.

AS A GRANDPARAENT, I AM CONSIDERED OVER-PROTECTIVE.

Here are some helpful links - once you open them, you can save them on your computer and send it to those involved as well - or you can print them out:

Speech 1

Speech 2

Speech 3 - talks about stuttering

You can always tell your family members that there is nothing lost by doing an assessment and everything to gain. If it is free, why not? And if there is a problem, the earlier it is assessed and intervention begins, the better her development will be in school.
