My daughters ex-husband brought her daughter back after his 3 hr. time and said that her stomach was distended and that she had a wet diaper the whole 3 hrs. and that she was red on her bottom. I think that a big stomach is common for a 14 month old and that she has had wet diapers at home and I think she is controlling herself and about ready to learn to go to the potty.
My question is-is that abnormal or is it alright.
I just think he is trying to undermind her motherhood and make her feel bad.
Please respond.

I have given you exactly what I wanted so I will take that you just don't know. I will go elsewhere. This is a joke that you answer when the question is plain and simple. I just want to know.

It's not that I don't fully understand your question.

However you state (she has had wet diapers at home and I think she is controlling herself and about ready to learn to go to the potty.)

having a wet diaper and then stating you think she is controlling herself and ready to learn potty training are contradicting each statement. If she were ready to start potty training, she wouldn't have a wet diaper. This is what was confusing in your question. So of course a rash will develop if she is left in a wet diaper for a long period of time.

I don't know your Granddaughter, however usually around 18 months is when some children show interest in potty training all the way up to 3 years of age. So going by 14 months, is early.

So it's not a joke here Hun, I had just wanted to confirm.

Thanks

Lindie

I had asked if having a big tummy means that it is distented, I believe not because toddlers have that sort of body. My ex-son-in-law is trying to discredit my daughter as a mother so he is pulling whatever to do so. I really want some sane advice about what is right. By the way, I have had children of my own so don't be so quick to judge.
You answered only part of my question please go back and read the question so you can answer it fully.

I wish I wouldn't have put the 15.00 on this, I went against my better judgement. So, I'm going to accept and not go on here again.
