why would a almost 3 year old child have pain in her legs ...

why would a almost 3 year old child have pain in her legs that wakes her up screaming. She has knots in her legs and they have to be rubbed until she can sleep again with tyenol too. Is this normal? She has not grown height or weight for over a year and wts 25 #. She has had loose stools since birth and no one can help her. please--does any one have any answers for this cury headed moppet???

Already Tried:
Iowa City cannot determirn why no growth, why only loose stool, and why leg pain, They haven't come up with anything and neither has the local doctor, the doctor in betandorf, or anywhere. she is th size of my one year old grandchildren--perfectly formed but almost 3

Have you seen a paediatrician?

Any blood work done?

no fever but has had fevers for days at a time. Yes she has seen many pediatrician. pints of blood work. appetite normal--no,,,one meal a day now.

She should be re-examined. She needs following tests

Barium meal follow through examination, E.S.R. & Peripheral blood film

Pain in legs could be due to growing pains

do children under 3 have growing pains???I thought that was in teenagers.what would barium meal do?
