We have a 3 week old grand-daughter living with us and she is experiencing severe gassiness and pain with her bowel movements. Her Mommy tried breastfeeding her, but due to some medical complications was unable to. The baby was started on Similac at the hospital, then because of her fussiness we switched her to a soy based formula, and the problems still persist. She was a full term baby, but only weighed 5 lbs. 13 ozs. at birth. It is tragic to see this tiny girl suffering so. Her legs stiffen and her tummy hardens and she screams like she is in terrible pain. Please do you have any advice, what do we do next, is there another formula to try? We are desperate to help our little angel.

Optional Information:
Female, Age: 49, California
