My 9 year old daughter complained that her throat hurt when she inhaled and her "heart hurt" during gym class, which was preceded by recess on the playground. The school nurse listened to her heart and said it sounded fine and "if it gets worse" come back to see her. Is this something her pediatrician should see her for?

She is actually on the lean side (53", 59lbs), no history of asthma, no other health issues. I asked her if she felt like she was having difficulty breathing and she said it was a combination of her chest hurting and having a hard time breathing.
