What would be causing my 3 year old son to feel like he needs to urinate all the time but when he goes only a small amount or none comes out?

Hello,

He could possibly have a urinary tract infection. That would cause the frequent small amount of urine. His pediatrician can collect an urine sample and check it for bacteria. If positive he would be place on antibiotics. Let me know if you have any other questions. Have your son drink a lot of fluids and see his pediatrician.
