If something doesn't seem right, it is always best to discuss with the pediatrician. Did she have her 6 month visit yet? If so, then talk at the next visit. What you describe sounds like something that babies do when you put them in the walker. It gives them momentum to thrust to the side or forward in order to move. Of course whomever holds her needs to be aware of this movement so she doesn't thrust out of there arms. I can't see what she is doing so you have to use your judgement. If it really looks unusual than give the doctor a call.
