If you've been taking Aviane for a year, without interruption, and forgot to take the first 6 pills of the first week, how long should you use a back-up method, after you've resumed taking the pill?

I guess it doesn't matter after reading it all. You will need protection up to 7 days. Which after 7 days then you should be protected again by the pill.

Thanks for your help. I guess I was really concerned about the least amount time I would have to use a back-up method and still be protected. To be on the safer side I'll wait at least 10 days. Again, I really appreciate the help.
