I am being treated for a DVT. I am on 90 mg of Lovenox 2x daily and 5mg Coumedin 1x daily. After a spike up to 2.3 INR from 1.7 INR after doubling the dose of Coumedin to compensate for not having the Lovenox for 2 days, my blood has steadily dropped to a 1.5 INR after reinstituted prescribed use. Why are the drugs no longer working?
