My husband has been off of treatment for Hep C ...

Sent to Health Experts June 08, 2006 10:09 a.m.

My husband has been off of treatment for Hep C (Peg-interferon & Ribavirin) for about 6 months. He had treatment for 48 weeks. He has Chemobrain, but the doctors and testing assure him it's only that he is slightly depressed. So yesterday the doc presribed Zoloft and gave him a sample. When we called the pharmacy to ask about drug interaction with 1) Ambien 10 mg; 2) Vicuprofen; 3) Requip 3 mg; and 4) Cialis 20 mg, the pharmacist said that there was a bad interaction with Zoloft and Vicuprofen, and that it causes bleeding in the upper GI, so don't take it. Could you tell us which antidepressents don't have a drug interation to what he is currently taking, so we can choose another? Thanks
