With pink eye you have the symptoms of redness in the eyes, watery eyes, sensativity to light, blurred vision, itching of the eye, or eye pain. It depends on the cause of the pink eye as to how it is treated. With allergy related pink eye treatment is relieved by treatment to the allergies causing it. With bacterial conjunctivitis(pink eye) it takes antibiotics to clear up the infection and the associated symptoms that you are seeing now. Since you have tried all the good home care methods to relieve the pink eye, if you feel this could be bacterial related then it would be wise to contact your physician so they can treat this accordingly, as viral pink eye usually clears up on its own. I would think that what you have is more related to a bacterial infection. Warm compresses will still help but not clear up the infection. I hope this information will be of help to you.
