I am a 27 year old male, fairly health with no serious known medical problems. About 1 month ago I developed bacterial pneumonia and was in the hospital for 2 days. About 4 days after being released I developed severe pain and was told it was caused by pleurisy from the pneumonia and it would clear up within a week or so. However it's now been 3 weeks and while the pain is not bad anymore I still have some pain while breathing deep and while yawning and such. I've also noticed over the last few days a 'gurgling' type feeling on the side where I have had the pain while laying down when I breath deep. Like a feeling of fluid being pushed around when I breath deep. They've done 2 cat scans on me while I was in hospital and said only appeared to be pnumonia, but since the pain still hasnt totally cleared and now with the gurgling feeling in my chest I have been concerened. Is this anything to worry about, Does pleurisy take this long to clear up?
