HEY DOC SORRY TO BOTHER YOU AGAIN I HAD ONE OTHER QUESTION, COULD PNEUMONIA PRESENT WITH THE SYMPTOMS I AM HAVING, LOW GRADE TEMP, UMPRODUCTIVE COUGH FROM TIME TO TIME. I SEEM TO BE A BIT MORE SHORT OF BREAT THAN NORMAL.........LAST NIGHT AND THIS MORNING I HAVE HAD A MILD HEAD ACHE........AROUND TEMPLES AND FOREHEAD

YES - some types of pnemonia (particularly mycoplasma - commonly called "walking pneumonia") will present with low grade temperature, non-productive cough, and shortness of breath.

I also find that some patients with Strep infections ("Strep throat") present more with a "tickle" or "dry cough" than with a "sore throat"

A simple chest X-ray and a rapid Strep test (can be done in about 5 minutes in the office) would rule out (or confirm) either of these conditions.
