Customer (name blocked for privacy),
the blood test itself only take about an hour to do.
the delay would be where you had it done and how urgently it was ordered.
in other words, if it was drawn in the hospital and you doctor told them to hurry, it would be about an hour.
if it was drawn in the doctors office, it will be sent to the lab and then the test is run...that would take a few days.
