I am a bit confused on your question. Are you saying she is a week late now? Or she was a week late but started?

Ovulation occurs approximately 14 days before your next period, the length of your cycle can change from month to month depending on things like stress or illness. The egg lives for about 1 day while sperm can live for about 3 to 5 days. Conception is most likely to occur when intercourse occurs in the 4 to 5 days before ovulation or on the day of ovulation.

So if she is late and has not had her period since you had sex, it's possible she may be pregnant. A home pregnancy test at this point could help detect this.

OK, thanks for clarifying, that makes better sense now :)

If she is generally on a 28 day cycle; her "normal" ovulation would have occurred around 4/27/06

So chances are she is fine. But with that said, there is never a guarantee that ovulation won't occur any other time of the month.. but as far as chances are concerned, it would be low.

Hope this helps Hun.

Anywhere from 3-7 days is normal. Which it has nothing to do with when she ended, it has to do with when she started.

You are welcome by the way. Also, please do leave me feedback after you click the accept, as I will do the same.
